Norman has always done this though (this track has this style, so goes under this name. Hence the many names :-P), so I guess it's only the ones who only see mainstream/chart who might complain.

Is this more of a Norman & Simon album then, rather than Norman being priority? Or do you prefer to stand back a bit?

It all sounds very exciting!
Variety is the spice of life!
Norman Cook has always expressed his love for different styles of music.
That's why many of us love his DJ sets or got into DJing in the first place.
It is fair that any musical work he puts out there reflects that.

If a tune is good, it doesn't matter what genre it is.
Music snobs can just shut up and leave the rest of us to enjoy your new project :)

Yeah, I would agree "He's Frank" has some sounding familiar elements in it (the drums especially) - that's true. And why it's not the first single....

I think if I heard "He's Frank" and not known it was Norman Cook, I would've guessed it...it doesn't sound that different from Fatboy Slim, especially Palookaville.

Not knocking it, BTW, it's an awesome track! Can't wait for the album!

Oooohhh, cryptic indeed Simon.

I completely agree with your comments. Some people just can't seem to be able to accept that artists can release stuff under another name, with a different sound.

They always tend to judge them on what they are well known for. It's as if people are not allowed to expand, and broaden their horizons.

As a FBS fan for longer that I care to mention. I think I can speak for many other FBS fans here. We always expect the unexpected, no matter what name it may be under. We never expect it to be the same as we've heard before. So, I for one am looking forward to hearing this album under BPA.

Hopefully Rockness will get a good taste of it this year :-)
